Our suppliers adopt the precautionary principle in their approach to environmental issues. They quickly detect, identify and assess the potential risks they may incur in their activities and take the most appropriate measures to mitigate or eliminate them where possible. Our suppliers optimize their waste production. They make every effort to reduce the volume of their waste by sorting, recycling and reusing materials.


OPTIMIZE THE ENVIRONMENTAL FOOTPRINT
All MCM Merchandising Consulting Multi-Brands teams are trained in the challenges and techniques involved in developing POS displays to optimize their environmental footprint. The choice of materials, the thickness of the materials, the assembly of the elements, the optimization of packaging and palletization are at the heart of our practices. Information relating to the design of the parts to be manufactured is recorded in technical plans which are used to formally comply with the monitoring of these plans and to notify us of any possible changes. Our suppliers and subcontractors guarantee the proper implementation of our principles. Packaging optimization (determination between part protection and packaging size) must be the subject of a BAT submitted to the Design Offices for approval. Palletization optimization must be taken into account according to customer constraints.
LABOR PRACTICES AND HUMAN RIGHTS
Our Suppliers promote and respect the International Labour Organization (ILO) Declaration on Fundamental Principles and Rights at Work and international human rights law. In this context, our Suppliers make every effort to ensure compliance with the following principles:
Abolition of child labour for children under 15 years of age
Elimination of forced and compulsory labor
Freedom of association and the right to collective bargaining
Elimination of discrimination and fair treatment in the workplace
Compliance with all applicable laws regarding wages, benefits and working hours
Protection of health and safety at work. Activities must not harm the health of their employees.



THE COMMITMENTS OF OUR SUPPLIERS
In terms of labor and human rights, our Suppliers strive to maintain a working environment where all of the supplier's employees benefit from training and development opportunities, and recognition for their contribution within the framework of a constructive dialogue with their employer.
Conflict of interest
Our suppliers must disclose any situation that may appear to present a conflict of interest, and bring to our attention cases where an MCM Merchandising Consulting Multi-Brands employee may have any interest in their activities or personal economic link with them.
Assessment
For all of the stated rules, our suppliers must implement mechanisms to ensure compliance within their company. We may conduct visits to ensure compliance with the rules set out in our Responsible Purchasing Charter. These visits may take the form of documentary requests, but also assessments carried out by MCM Merchandising Consulting Multi-Brands.
In the event of detected non-compliance, MCM Merchandising Consulting Multi-Brands will require the supplier to implement a corrective action plan, which we will monitor. In the event of a serious breach or failure to regularize a non-compliance, we reserve the right to withdraw from the supplier concerned.
